Traffic changes coming to State Road 19 in Kosciusko County

The Indiana Department of Transportation will be installing stop signs at the intersection of State Road 19 and Main Street/Broadway Street in the Town of Etna Green.

The intersection will be converted to an all-way-stop, meaning traffic on both S.R. 19 and Main Street/Broadway Street will have to stop.

The change is expected to be made Thursday.

The decision was made after INDOT completed a district-wide assessment of unique 90-degree intersections. The assessment reviewed data such as crash history, sight-distance, average speed, traffic volume and other factors.
