Trump campaign rebukes Indiana candidate signs

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (AP) — Donald Trump’s re-election campaign is demanding that Rep. Todd Rokita take down yard signs giving the false impression the president endorsed the Indiana Republican’s Senate bid.

That’s according to two people with direct knowledge of the presidential campaign’s demand who spoke to The Associated Press. The two spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss the matter.

The Rokita signs tout an endorsement made by two volunteers who ran Trump’s 2016 Indiana campaign.

The signs proclaim in large white letters “Endorsed by Trump/Pence,” with smaller letters below adding “2016 Indiana Team Leaders.”

Rokita spokesman Nathan Brand says the campaign doesn’t “comment on yard sign strategy.”

We are screwed if Rokita is "typical" in the race for the Senate. April 19, 2018 at 1:20 pm

It has begun! All the swamp rats positioning themselves for the best job ever. Our Congress. Once your in the benefits never stop. You can lie, cheat, steel all day everyday and get away with it easily. Your biggest task in our Congress is passing laws that screw Americans but somehow still benefit those in congress.

Based on this incident alone, who in their right mind would vote for Todd Rokita? More carrier politicians wanting to get in the “BIG HOUSE” to screw us some more!
