Niles trash service delayed for some customers after Tuesday fire

(Allison Corak/ABC 57)

Delayed trash service, in Niles, for some customers of Michiana Recycling and Disposal.

That’s due to the fire that happened early Tuesday morning at the company’s transfer station. Crews arrived on scene to find flames and heavy smoke were visible.

Niles Township Fire officials say the blaze began in a cardboard bin. No one was injured.
