Vehicle crashes into a building at Buchanan High School

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says a vehicle crashed into a building early at Buchanan High School early Wednesday morning.

Officers and medics responded around 2:30 a.m. after the vehicle struck a restroom building near the football field. The driver and a passenger were transported to South Bend Memorial with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe alcohol and speed were likely factors in the crash.
