A third person has been arrested in a Kosciusko County child neglect case in which a boy was found malnourished with life-threatening injuries.

58-year-old Fayette Robinette of Etna Green was arrested Tuesday for neglect of a dependent with bodily injury. She’s being held on a $41,000 bond.

Previously arrested in the case was 24-year-old Rune Springer and 38-year-old Travis Tillotson. They’re all facing charges after Nappanee Police found an injured child on March 2.

The Times-Union reports the boy was injured so badly that doctors say he would have died within 48 hours had he not gotten treatment.

A warrant is out for the arrest of Jammy Stacy, the alleged caretaker of the child, with a bond set at $200,000.
