Some neighbors along County Road 26 in Elkhart are fed up with a nuisance neighbor.

15 dogs. Two goats. Pickup trucks. A broken down ambulance. Those are just some of the debris that sits on less than half an acre of property, and neighbors are tired of seeing…and hearing it.

ABC 57 spoke to the man who lives in the home. He says he wasn’t aware of any code or noise violations he was making and blamed new neighbors for his current problem.

However, Elkhart County documents show he was cited in March. Elkhart County Code Enforcement is threatening legal action if the property isn’t cleaned up.

The homeowner says he should be able to do what he wants.
