All three suspects have now been identified and are now formally charged for their roles in this week’s rash of armed robberies in South Bend and Granger.

16-year-old Ashanae Beavers is facing five counts of armed robbery. 16-year-old Jeremiah Johnson is charged with three counts and is belived to have been involved in the robberies on Santa Monica Drive and Crimson Maple Drive in Granger. 18-year-old Caitlin Scott is charged with five counts of armed robbery.

Scott and Beavers are believed to have been the ones involved in the robbery of a couple that just returned home after watching their child graduate from Notre Dame Sunday night at Stanfield and St. Vincent.

The four Granger robberies happened Monday night. One of them happened just across Ash Road on Patricia Church Drive in Elkhart County; charges for that robbery have not yet been announced.
