Three arrests made in connection to rash of armed robberies in Granger, South Bend

The people allegedly behind a rash of armed robberies this week in Michiana have been arrested.

Three arrests have been made that South Bend Police say is in connection to robberies in South Bend, Granger, and Elkhart County this week. Officers announced the arrests on Wednesday, May 23, and noted their help from St. Joseph County Police.

A couple was robbed in South Bend in the late evening of Sunday, May 20.

On Monday, May 21, four armed robberies took place in and around Granger in the late evening hours. In each robbery, two to three people were involved.

Caitlyn Scott, 18, and two 16-year-old boys were arrested. Formal charges are pending.
