Granger man hospitalized after boating crash in Cass County

A Granger man is hospitalized after a boating crash on Big Fish Lake near Marcellus.

It happened shortly before 9 a.m. Friday. Cass County deputies say the 55-year-old man hit a pier and two boats.

An investigation revealed that the Granger man may have suffered a medical condition before the crash, causing him to lose control of the boat. His life was saved by first responders performing CPR.

He was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
