Fir Road closed at Toll Road bridge due to pavement buckling

(Photo supplied/Mishawaka Police Department)

Another key Mishawaka road has had its pavement buckle this summer.

Fir Road just south of the Indiana Toll Road bridge has buckled, causing city officials to close it completely until it can be fixed.

Officials recommend drivers use Capital Avenue (SR 331), Main Street, or Grape Road until the road is back open.
