Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver in an apparent hit-and-run case.

The body of 58-year-old Galacio Sanchez was found at Lincolnway and Logan in Mishawaka back on July 20.

According to St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit, the autopsy shows Sanchez died due to blunt force trauma.

Investigators believe he was hit by the driver of a dark-colored Ford Taurus. The vehicle may be missing a side-view mirror.
