Some Hoosier fans of the band Rascal Flatts are still a bit confused after a concert Thursday night came to an abrupt end.

The Noblesville show by the country act ran a little short, involved no encores, and didn’t touch on most of the trio’s biggest hits.

The band left the stage and the crowd went wild, expecting them to return. Instead, security began evacuating people and a PA announcement stated that the show was over.

Fans on social media reported an unconfirmed fight near the stage at one point just before the band left.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s office told the Indy Star that they “cannot comment on an open investigation,” which is only fueling speculation about what cut the show short.
