An Elkhart murder suspect has been apprehended in Georgia.

Angelica Castillo, 39, is suspected in the brutal killing of her husband Elder Castillo, Senior.

Police says she shot and killed him while he was in the shower, hid his body in their home, and took money from his bank accounts.

A search for her that began in June ended Tuesday evening in Adel, Georgia during a routine traffic stop.

She allegedly gave a false name to the arresting officer.

ABC 57 reports that she had allegedly been living in a mobile home park in Cook County, Georgia for two weeks before her arrest.

She’s being held until she can extradited back to Elkhart County.
