(95.3 MNC)

The owner of two Boston Terriers found dead in a trash bag in South Bend says they went missing on Friday.

The dogs were found around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the 600 block of West LaSalle Avenue.

There’s no speculation yet about how the animals died, but additional examinations were scheduled for Wednesday.

One of the animals was microchipped, which led to the owners. Anyone with information should contact South Bend Animal Care and Control .
