Benton Harbor man run over by farm vehicle in Cass County

A 66 year-old man Benton Harbor man was rushed to Memorial Hospital in South Bend after he was run over by a farm vehicle.

It happened around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep, 4, in the 2300 block of Lake Street in Howard Township.

The victim was laying down in the field, taking a break, when he was run over by one of the farm trucks, whose driver did not see him laying in the field.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Howard Township Fire Department and SMCAS Ambulance Service.
