Third District Representative Jim Banks tells 953 MNC that when famous people open their mouths about politics, it should be viewed as a good thing.

Whether you agree with them or not, Banks says, when they use their platform to give an opinion they have a tendency to engage their fans in the political process. That’s something Banks says we need more of, not less.

Banks also addressed Wednesday morning’s Honor Flight, and the controversy surrounding the recent disappearance of a Washington Post reporter in Turkey.
