Warsaw to track students as they get on and off school buses

Students who ride Warsaw school buses will soon be tracked.

That’s thanks to student IDs, which will be scanned when students get on and off buses. This will provide the school’s transportation team with real time information on where students are in case they get calls from parents.

The Times-Union reports there may eventually be an app for parents as well.

The IDs will first be used at Claypool Elementary in early November.
