Statewide Silver Alert issued for missing Mishawaka man cancelled

UPDATE: The Silver Alert for the missing Mishawaka man was cancelled around 4:45 p.m. on Monday.

ORIGINAL STORY: A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Mishawaka man.

Philip Joe Renner, 74, is described as  5’11”, 190 pounds, with brown hair with hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, dark colored shorts and socks, and driving a dark blue 2005 Toyota Corolla 4 door with Indiana plate 179WG.  The vehicle has a dent on the rear passenger side, according to Mishawaka Police.

Renner was last seen around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11.  He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Anybody with information about Philip Joe Renner, or his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Mishawaka Police Department at 574-258-1678 or call 911.
