Dozes of gunshots fired on Franklin Street in Elkhart, suspect sought

Police in Elkhart are looking for the whoever fired 20 to 30 gunshots on Franklin Street.

Police were called when gunfire rang out around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22.

There were no injuries reported, but damage was done to a vehicle, shed, telephone pole and electrical power box, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

According to at least one witness, a white car was seen leaving the scene after the shots were fired, ABC 57 reported.
