A pair of crashes Friday morning shut down the eastbound lanes of the 20-31 bypass during the morning commute.

The first crash involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle and happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. at State Road 23. The second crash occurred in the same area and involved two cars.

There were no injuries reported in either crash but the busy road was shut down during the peak drive time. The lanes reopened shortly after 8 a.m.
