Juvenile arrested for alleged threat made against Concord High School

A juvenile is in custody in Elkhart County after making a threat against Concord High School on social media.

The threat of a potentially violent incident was allegedly posted by a student on a personal account Thursday night. School administrators saw the post and got the authorities involved.

After investigating, Concord Community Schools Police determined there was no credible threat. Still, they arrested the student.

The threat is believed to be an isolated incident and classes continued as usual.

School officials encourage students and parents to “see something, say something” if they ever hear anything concerning.
