A man and woman who used to live in Leesburg are dead after what police say was a murder-suicide in Florida.

Police found 75-year-old Victor Staton and 66-year-old Marilyn Staton dead inside a home in Plant City, Florida Friday afternoon.

Officers say the two were married at some point, but that Victor Staton was living somewhere else at the time.

Police believe he shot his wife before taking his own life.
