Arrest made in connection with armed robbery at South Bend Chocolate Cafe

South Bend Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe.

Around 5 a.m. on April 2, officers were dispatched to Chocolate Cafe on S. Michigan Street where employees told them a man with a gun approached a worker and demanded cash.

The suspect injured the two workers inside the store before leaving the scene.

This arrest of Kevin Yoder, 37, was made possible thanks to the assistance of the community, the patrol officers and the detectives who worked diligently to identify and arrest a suspect, according to South Bend Police.
