A Milford woman is facing charges after a police officer says she tried to cut him with a box cutter.

The Times-Union reports it happened on Friday, April 26, as the officer was trying to take Christina Golden to jail for counterfeiting.

While in the police car, Golden allegedly removed the box cutter from under her shirt while handcuffed and tried to slash the officer with it.

The officer got his car stopped and managed to get the cutter away without being hurt.
