Two drivers hospitalized after crash on State Road 15 near Bristol

A crash near Bristol sent both drivers to the hospital.

The head-on collision happened just after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, on State Road 15 just south of Bristol.

An SUV driven by a 33 year-old Bristol man was reportedly headed south when it crossed the centerline and struck a northbound car driven by a 58 year-old Middlebury woman.

The SUV flipped over and the driver suffered multiple injuries, as did the driver of the car.

Both were taken to Elkhart General Hospital.

The SUV driver was issued a citation for the crash.
