The subject of an 8-hour manhunt on June 9th that came after a report of a battery and strangulation attempt near the Mini Mountain Campground and Bendix Woods was charged in St. Joseph County Court Thursday.

41 year-old Jason Gibson faces two felony and three misdemeanor counts for the attack, as well as the attempts to evade law enforcement.

Gibson is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon.
