After several days of searching, it’s believed the body of a missing Niles Township man has been found in the woods near the Dowagiac River.

Saturday night police announced that a body was discovered in the woods about 100 yards away from the river. They believe it to be 47 year-old Garen Collins, who went missing last week.

Officials say there were no obvious signs of foul play and positive identification and an autopsy were scheduled for Sunday in Kalamazoo.
