It’s 26 years in prison for a man who pleaded guilty to breaking into a home and attacking a woman inside.

It was back in early January when prosecutors say Joshua Black entered the home, armed with a handgun, then tried to rape the woman.

Black entered the victim’s home through an unlocked front door and woke the victim by assaulting her, according to investigators. The victim got Black’s gun away from him and pointed it at him. He then took off and she called police, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Black was arrested a few days later.

He pleaded guilty to burglary, stangulation and sexual battery counts.
