There were a pair of motorcycle crashes over the weekend in Michiana…

The first happened in Cass County’s Penn Township Saturday night. Police say it happened at the corner of White Temple Road and Little Fish Lake around 9 p.m.

Officers say a 61 year-old man and his passenger were injured when he lost control of his motorcycle. Speed and alcohol were not considered factors in the crash and neither of them were wearing helmets.

In South Bend, a motorcyclist was killed just before 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of California and Diamond Avenues.

No other vehicles were involved and the cause of that crash isn’t known.
