A new Dollar General store is opening this weekend in Elkhart.

The discount retailer is opening a store in the 1100 block of Johnson Street Saturday at 8 a.m.

The opening will include some giveaways: The first 50 adult shoppers will receive a gift card, and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General tote bag with samples.
