Two people killed in crash on State Road 23 in Granger

Two people were killed in a head-on crash on State Road 23 in Granger.

The collision happened around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, July 16, on SR 23 at Chestnut Road.

The driver of a white Toyota pick-up truck crossed the center line, striking a brown pick-up truck.

The driver and the passenger in the white pickup died.

Two people in the other vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team.
