Elkhart’s 24th Annual Envro-Fest is coming this Saturday to the Civic Plaza and Central Park.

Elkhart Environmental Center Director Jamison Czarnecki says the free event will be fun for the whole family and spotlights the work being done in Elkhart to protect the environment.

The event is from Noon to 6 on Saturday, and admission will be free. It’s also planned to be the city’s first Zero-Waste event, with at least 90 percent of the materials used being recycled or composted. You can learn more by clicking here.
