The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are ranked in the Top Ten in the football preseason Amway Coaches Poll.

The Irish were ranked 9th on the list, which was released on Thursday. Three of their opponents were also listed in the Top 25: Georgia was 3rd, Michigan 7th, and Stanford was 23rd.

Five of their other opponents received votes but didn’t make the list, including USC and Boston College.

Notre Dame’s season begins at Louisville on Labor Day.
