A moped crash in Cass County injured a man from Union, Michigan Thursday night.

It happened on U.S. 12 near Tharp Lake Road in Mason Township shortly before 9 p.m.

Deputies say the moped rider told them he went off the road while looking across the road and struck a no passing sign.

Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash and he was treated for his injuries.
