No injuries in helicopter crash near Walkerton

No injuries for a helicopter pilot after the chopper crashed in a neighborhood near Walkerton.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Sep. 9, in the 68000 block of Poplar Road.

The chopper landed in the driveway of a home.

Nobody on the ground was injured.

There was no immediate word on why the crash occurred.

Poplar Road was closed due to clean-up of the collision and due to chemicals leaking from the aircraft, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
