It’s not good news for Indiana, as it is currently the 5th least-vaccinated state in the country.

That’s according to a study of medical data by WalletHub. They compared stats ranging from share of vaccinated children, to the number of people without health insurance, to the presence of reported measles outbreaks.

Indiana came in 40th in the country for the rate of flu vaccines for children and 48th for the flu vaccination coverage rate among adults. In fact, in all the individual categories they studied Indiana only made the top half in one–16th for teens and men with the ACWY vaccine. Indiana came in 30th for total population without health insurance.

This issue is so very simple – those who believe in vaccination get ’em; those who don’t believe in them don’t get them. If you get vaccinated you are supposedly “safe” from those who don’t. What’s the big deal???!!!
