Voter registration deadline is Monday in Indiana

Are you registered to vote? The deadline is fast approaching if you want to put your checkmark in on the November 5th ballot.

The Indiana Secretary of State reminds you that Monday is the deadline to register. Voters must register by the time the local county clerk’s office closes for the day or by midnight if registering online.

Officials say ways to register online include using the Indiana Voters app on a smart device or by visiting indianavoters.com.

In order to be eligible to register to vote, you must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old by Election Day, have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election, and not currently be imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.
