Boy reported missing near New Carlisle returned home safe

UPDATE: Hunter Sebasty reportedly returned home, safe, late Saturday night.

ORIGINAL STORY: St. Joseph County Police are asking for help from the public finding a missing 8-year-old boy who walked away from his home.

Hunter Sebasty was last seen in the area of  Filmore Road and Walnut Road near New Carlisle around 7-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Hunter is described as weighing around 52 pounds. He was wearing a blue w/ gray under Armor hoodie and dark sweatpants. He was also wearing blue w/black Puma tennis shoes.

Anybody who thinks they have seen him or know his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
