Elkhart General Hospital Recognized for Donations to Ghana

Elkhart General is being recognized for medical equipment donations they’ve been making to a hospital in Ghana.

It all started back in 2018 when a physical therapist at EGH traveled to Ghana and realized the need for medical equipment. Beacon Health then filled up a shipping container with hospital beds, furniture, and other supplies for the Ankaase Hospital.

One of their representatives came up personally to thank EGH employees this week, the hospitals president also sent a personal letter and certificates of appreciations

The hospitals donations so far has included 8 hospital beds, more than 300 sanitation kits, an x-ray reader, and the hospital first ever mammography machine.
