South Bend Tribune is moving after 98 years

The South Bend Tribune is going to be moving for the first time in nearly 100 years. The Tribune building iconically located at Colfax and Lafayette, will soon no longer house the newspaper. Instead they plan to move to the site of a former Studebaker plant.

Plans are to start the move this week, first going into a temporary space, and then moving into a completely renovated space sometime in the spring. An article from the Tribune indicates that the move comes as they focus their brand to be more technology driven.

There are already plans in the works to open up their former home for development opportunities.
