Car Stolen While Warming Up in Sturgis

It’s an unfortunate reminder from police not to leave your vehicles warming up, unattended, on these frosty cold mornings.

A man on Prospect Street in Sturgis learned that the hard way when he walked back out to his driveway to get into his truck and found a strange man behind the wheel.

The victim opened the door and the suspect pulled a gun, then took off with the vehicle.

ABC 57 News reports the vehicle is a white 2004 Dodge Ram 15-hundred with a dent in the passenger side door.
