Several school districts in Michigan are flipping the switch for electric school buses, and that list includes a district in St. Joseph County.
Three Rivers students will climb onto electric buses after the winter break.
The buses reportedly cost less money to maintain, and have an added feature designed with safety in mind.
When the buses are traveling between one and 15 miles per hour, they play music through speakers on the outside of the bus. That music will inform the public that a school bus is approaching.
The zero-emission buses are 100 percent electric, and Three Rivers will be getting two of them.

Zero emissions…ha ha, ho ho, hee hee it is to laugh. Welcome to your coal fired buses. You know, that magic electricity that just comes from the wall socket. How much extra is this virtue signalling costing the tax payers? The last I checked electricity cost more than gas.
Also, the power grid can barely handle a hot days air conditioning load…let’s just transfer all the energy required to power transportation to that grid too…idiots.
