The South Bend Animal Resource Center is planning a “Silent Night” adoption event this weekend.

Sunday, from 11 to 5, they will reduce adoption fees to $25 for all of their animals. Volunteers and staff hope to adopt out every animal in both the community cat room and the dog adoption room, thus creating a “silent night” at the shelter.

They are also looking for pet-related donations from the public, especially dog and cat food.
