A man is recovering after he was injured in an apartment fire Thursday in South Bend.
Officials say they arrived around noon at the Prosper South Bend apartments on Jefferson Boulevard and found flames coming from the roof.
The man who was injured was rescued with minor injuries and taken to a hospital.
There’s no word on his condition and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
