Coroner looking into deaths in South Bend

South Bend police are looking into a pair of deaths from over the weekend, but foul play is not suspected in either case.

The first was that of a homeless man that was found underneath the bridge at South Street and Main Street. The suspect has not been identified but police say he was 57 years old and they are looking to notify next of kin. Hypothermia appears to be the cause.

Meanwhile, the coroner is determining a cause of death for an elderly man found inside a home on Huey St. He was found after they were called for a welfare check.
