More people could be joining in on a proposed class action suit against Goshen Hospital. The newly proposed class of plaintiffs would include the spouses of those affected. This all stems from an incident where the hospital potential exposed more than a thousand patients to serious infectious diseases.

While there have been no confirmed cases of anyone catching those diseases a lawsuit was filed in November by a patient that said they suffered “extreme emotional distress and trauma”.
The Elkhart Truth reports that despite a granted extension there has been no response on the lawsuit from the hospital.
