A convicted fugitive from Bridgman now faces additional charges.

William Stanson, 53, was taken into custody in Mexico earlier this month. He pleaded guilty Tuesday to contempt of court and was sentenced to serve 93 days in jail. He had failed to appear for sentencing in August of 2015.

He was in court Thursday facing new charges, including four counts of criminal sexual contact. In 2015 he was charged with first degree sexual assault of a minor, and accosting a minor. Sentencing for the original charge is scheduled for March 30.
