Plenty of debris has washed up on the Lake Michigan shore this fall and winter, and now a fishing boat has ended up at Tiscornia Park in St. Joseph.
The small boat was discovered early Thursday morning by Nathan Voytovick, when he went to the park to film the waves.
ABC 57 reports the boat was registered nearly 20 years ago in 2001. It was surrounded with other large pieces of debris brought ashore by high lake levels and large waves, including logs and large tree branches.
The high levels are expected to continues through the spring, and possibly throughout 2020.
