Bond set for Boys & Girls Club site leader after alleged assault

A Boys and Girls Club site leader in Berrien County has been charged with assault by strangulation after prosecutors say he put his hands around an 18-year-old man’s throat.

The alleged incident happened back on February 20th at St. Joseph High School.

Investigators say video images show Chris Glisson, 52, of Coloma committing the assault.

Witnesses say the 18-year-old dated Glisson’s daughter, but they recently broke up.

Glisson’s bond was set at $5,000 during his arraignment on Wednesday, March 4.

He’s due back in court on March 19.
