Two shooting investigations are underway in South Bend. One of the shootings happened just after 7:30, Monday night in the area of Western Avenue and Kentucky Street. The man was shot in the chest.

The second shooting happened just after 9 o’clock at the intersection of Colfax and LaPorte Avenue. That man was also taken to the hospital. There is no word of any suspects or arrests or the circumstances that led to the gunfire in either situation.
